The Head's Lines

Another term has flown past and we now approach the Easter holidays with so much having been achieved at CCC.

We continue to invest in our site to improve the environment for our students. You will have noticed the state of the art multi-use games area which has just been completed. Furthermore, we have had new perimeter fencing installed to increase the safety of our site. More developments are planned for the coming months.

The students have involved themselves in yet more of the opportunities that CCC provides.

These have included Ten Tors training and camps, the Spring Creative Arts Festival, careers trips to colleges and universities, the Big Pit visit to Wales and many sporting fixtures. We have also planned our summer enrichment week with lots of activities which the students are excited about. More information on the logistics of this will follow soon.

The year 11s are now in the final stages of preparation for their GCSE exams, having completed their last set of Mocks. The prom committee has raised money for this event through a variety of creative and innovative ideas. We are really proud of the year 11 students and hope they get a good rest during the Easter break in preparation for the exertions to come.
